Tisanes

Tisanes are ‘teas’ that are not prepared from the Camellia Sinensis plant. Tisane is French for herbal infusion. These can include infusions created from flowers, leaves, and sometimes fruits. Tisanes are caffeine free and gain the taste and stimulants from their herbal or fruity ingredients. Tisanes can be used as aids for digestive complaints, such as peppermint. Fruity and floral tisanes are great as an ‘iced tea’ on a summer’s day.
